MBA students earn special donation

The Professional Student Network (PSN) has been selected by GMAC’s TeamMBA Award to receive a $500 donation to Special Olympics Minnesota based on their participation in the Polar Bear Plunge in March!  Congratulations to PSN, and thanks to all the students who jumped into Lake Clahoun on a 30 degree day!

On April 12, Carlson School students took part in a day of service, demonstrating the school’s commitment to philanthropy. In the hopes of creating lasting partnerships with area nonprofits, students and staff convened to volunteer - they built dressers, painted apartments, and reviewed resumes for those less fortunate. http://z.umn.edu/dmh

No matter who you are, your community shapes who you are as a person and what you’re able to do in life. The Day of Service events will be a great way to show our appreciation and give back to those around us, especially when the Twin Cities provide so many opportunities and a supportive environment for the Carlson School.

A number of our Carlson School undergrad students participate in the Volunteer Tax Assistance Program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and are helping our community save thousands of dollars each year.
